We had such a super week! Some of the highlights were a "Munchie Math" lesson on measurement and meeting with our Book Buddies in the outdoor sanctuary. Many thanks to our parent volunteer, Lisa Lefkovits and our Mystery Reader, Justin Berman.

Academics
In language arts, we spent lots of time working on the last section of our autobiographies. Suffice it to say, you will LOVE reading these projects!!!! We also spent time learning about adjectives. In math, it was all about measuring length. We ended the week by measuring different pieces of licorice. In science, we have moved from learning about habitats to distinguishing between the 5 types of vertebrates. We have covered mammals, birds, fish, and amphibians. We'll finish up with reptiles next week.

Dear 2nd grade parents,
This was a review week. We practiced and drilled our Cursive Hebrew letters.
We also worked in our Shalom books, read stories and completed relater pages.
