Corron Mission Statement
From the Principal
Corron’s Field Day will be held on Tuesday, May 25th with a rain date of May 26th. Each grade level 1st - 5th will be assigned an hour with our PE teachers to engage in fun and safe activities. Teachers will be adding in other activities throughout the day, including a collective art project with Mrs. Hubbs. Students will participate in the activities with their own class, rotating through stations.
Below are the time slots for each grade level. Parents will be invited to be spectators during this time. We will be setting up a spectator area and asking parents to follow our district safety guidelines.
Our remote students will be participating in their own virtual Field Day, supported by Mr. Navis and Mrs. Dieter. This information will be shared with remote families this week.

District Subbing Opportunities
It takes more adults to operate schools safely for students during the pandemic. District 303 currently has numerous job openings in a variety of job categories. If you are looking for temporary, part-time, or full-time employment, please visit the D303 Human Resources page to apply for a position.
One of the more flexible positions available is that of a D303 Substitute. You can choose to work, or not work, as your schedule permits. Take a moment and read the Substitute Handbook to see what this job entails.
If you are interested and hold a:
- Bachelor's degree in any field you would qualify to apply for a substitute license with the state which allows you to sub for teachers or teacher assistants. You would apply using THIS link.
- Associate's degree you apply for a Paraprofessional license which only allows you to sub for Teaching assistants. You would apply using THIS link.
- High School diploma you have to take an aptitude test with the KANE ROE office. Once you pass that, you apply for a Paraprofessional license which only allows you to sub for Teaching assistants. You would apply using THIS link.
Contact Julie Wenger (julie.wenger@d303.org) with any questions.
