Happy Monday

Hello Phoenix families,

Happy Monday! As we enter the second week of high school and the first week of college classes, I want to thank all of you, especially the freshmen and sophomore classes for your support of our special schedule last week. Also, a reminder to our freshmen class that the college schedule is a bit odd this semester so the release times will be different. Please see information below for specifics.

Remember, you are only allowed to pick up one COVID test kit per student. However, you may pick up a kit for all of your students from HSMC or any other secondary school. If you have not picked up your kit(s), feel free to come by the office during business hours and pick one up. Details are below.

If you have not already filled out the LCAP parent survey, please do so as soon as possible. The deadline is 4:00pm on January 28, 2022.

Next Monday, school is not in session in order to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Please take a moment to reflect on his life, legacy and the impact he has had on the fight for equality in our country.

Have a great week Phoenix families!

COVID Tests Available

Last week, all MUSD families received a message from Dr. Kelly Hayes outlining COVID tests that are available for MUSD families.

You may read the letter by clicking here.

Even though the letter only mentioned MHS, CMS, and MVMS, I want to assure you that we also have tests here at HSMC for you.

If you would like to obtain a COVID test kit for your child(ren), you may come to HSMC during business hours (8:00am - 5:30pm) Have your child’s MUSD student ID with you. We will scan the ID and give you the test kit, only one kit per student.

As always, thank you for your support.
