Seniors Need Help!
Hello JRLP Families,
Our seniors are working so hard on their Capstone projects! We are at the point where students need to interview a person who works in the career they have chosen to research. Many students have found a field expert and have completed their interviews; however, we are still looking for the following careers:
- aquarist (this is someone who works with maintaining aquariums)
- museum curator
- video game design
If you know someone who can help our seniors, please contact Ms. Lee at brandi.lee@jeffco.k12.co.us.
Thank you!
Student Skills Workshop!
Hello JRLP Families,
JRLP will be hosting student skills workshops. The skills workshops will provide an opportunity for JRLP students and families to participate in directed learning, training, knowledge, and growth opportunities.
More information to come!

Day at the Capitol!
JRLP Families and Students,
Join us on Thursday, February 8 for our 2024 Annual Day at the Capitol! We are so excited to be back in person this year and bring together cyberschool advocates from across the state. We will begin at the History Colorado Center, with a morning of informative and interactive presentations, including a visit from Amelia Earhart, presented by Colorado Humanities History Speakers Bureau! Then, weβll head over to the Capitol for a rally to hear from parents, students, educators, and legislators, spreading the word about the importance of school choice and online learning. We can't wait to see all our Colorado cyberschools there! Register now!
There will be an opportunities for people to speak at the rally. If anyone would like to speak at the event, let Ms. Dawn Brodin know. It can be as short as βI support online testing and hope you will consider this bill.β Or it could be a personal testimony about how online learning is the best option for your family and why. This portion of the event where people will come forward to speak will probably be on the capitol steps. No pressure at all to say something, just wanted to provide the opportunity if anyone would like to.
If you would like to speak at the rally....Please reach out to Dawn Brodin at dawn@dashtechnology.com
This is not a school sponsored event, so if you want to join, please call the JRLP attendance line to excuse your student(s).

Voice and Piano Lessons
Is your student interested in piano or voice lessons?
Mr. Brendan Schuster, teaches private Voice and Piano lessons to all levels and age ranges (not younger that 6), as well as music production and composition.
The lessons are out of his studio in Littleton, but he can also offer lessons remotely! Brendan is very talented and is also fun and kind - he works very well with children & teens.
Performance is also an important aspect, so he puts on at least 2 recitals a year for students to share their hard work.
Folks who are interested can contact him at brendanschustermusic@gmail.com or can call/text him at 303-887-0015.
