Thank you to all who have donated since our connect message went home! We are still welcoming flat donations and appreciate your support of Cottonwood Creek!

Morning Drop Off

As temperatures drop, we would like to remind you that doors open at 9am. Additionally, if you drop your student off, please use the loop. We have had many students walking from their vehicles in the parking lot which is very dangerous. If your student will be walking in from the parking lot, please park your vehicle and walk them in.

Picture Retakes

Photo retakes will be held on Wednesday, October 26 in the gym. We still need a couple of volunteers that will receive a free picture packet. If you would like to volunteer, please call Stephanie Stewart at 907-864-2101.

PTO Halloween Carnival

The Halloween Carnival is quickly approaching! It will be at CWE on Saturday, October 29 from 3:00-5:30pm. Admission is FREE. Game punch cards can be purchased at the door or ahead of time at the office. Additionally, students can donate candy bags or 2 liter soda bottles to receive punch cards. Please bring these items to the office and label them with your student's name.

The PTO is in need of volunteers to help with the event. If you are available, please email or sign up at the office.

All proceeds go toward classrooms!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Teachers sent home letters with students on Monday, October 10 with conference times. If you need to switch your conference time, please contact your student's reading teacher. If you need a reminder on their time, please contact the front office at 907-864-2100. Conferences will be held on October 27th and 28th, so there will be no school.

Halloween Parade

The Halloween Parade will be on Monday, October 31 at 2:30pm. Please do not send your students to school wearing their costumes since they will be putting them on before the parade. If your student's costume has weapons, please leave them at home. Additionally, CWE asks that students do not wear scary masks or fake blood on their face.

Lost and Found

The lost and found is overflowing. Please stop by if your student is missing something. We will have it set out during conferences. Any unclaimed items will be donated for a clothing drive. Thanks!
