Absolute monarch
An absolute monarch is a monarchical form of government in which the monarch had complete power of his or her people.
Peter the Great
Peter the Great was born in June 9, 1672 in Moscow, Russia. He was born into a royal family called the Romanov Dynasty. He claimed that he had the divine right to rule Russia. His father tsar Alexis had married twice and peter was the first child of his second marriage. When he was younger peter liked to invent complicated games. Peter was very interested in warfare. From an early age, Peter's education (commissioned by Tsar Alexis I) was put in the hands of several tutors, most notably Nikita Zotov, Patrick Gordon, and Paul Menesius. When his father died in 1676, feodor ruled until his own death in 1682. Peter and his half sister Sophia held power together but in 1696 he began to rule alone.
Accomplishments of peter the great
Peter the great was one of the most important leaders in Russian history. He wanted to modernize or westernize Russia. One of his accomplishments was the foundation of the city of Saint Petersburg. Not only did he modernized Russia but he also created one of the most efficient military. Peter used to pretend that he was a citizen and would travel to different ports in different countries. He would do this so he could learn from these countries to benefit Russia's trading, seafare, and Navy. Peter toured Europe and educated himself in western culture and science, then returned to Russia and introduced military, civil and social reforms to make Russia more like Europe (especially Germany).
He succeeded in all three of these things and created one of the worlds best navy. He educated the youth by making them go to school. He made people cut their beards to unify the people, westernize Russia and make citizens look like one. He also helped the country financially with the increase of trade.

Conclusion
I think peter the great should stay a ruler for a number of reasons. Without him Russia May have never modernized like it is today. He made Russia wealthier through trade and seafare. He even created one of worlds best military and navy. He helped create one of the worlds most powerful countries and I think he would benefit everyone if he stayed.
