KNVCoS Update

Happy New Year! I am very pleased to welcome you back to school for the Spring semester of the 2021-2022 school year. Thank you to all for your support in ensuring that students and staff returned from the three-week winter recess safely and that engaging instruction continues. Our KNVCoS team-members have all been deployed to support schools for the last couple weeks, therefore, this publication does not include their usual updates and articles. However, please scroll down to see updates from some of our schools and to review other important information and announcements below.

Celebrating & Supporting our Community

Welcome Kennedy/NAHS/VAAS CoS students, families and community members! Please join us in celebrating all of the fantastic work that is happening at our schools. Thank you to our amazing principals, teachers, staff, students and families who have made all of these events possible. You make our Community of Schools a shining star!

Congratulations Addams' Graduates!

Congratulations to all 31 students who graduated from Jane Addams this past December! We are proud of all that you have accomplished and can't wait to see all that you will accomplish in the future!

Mayall Academy Welcomes Board Member Schmerelson

Board Member Schmerelson and Mrs. Jeannie Kamm, District Office Director, visited Mayall Academy's 2nd graders during their art class. Students were learning texture print from our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Leah Padow. Mr. Schmerelson participated in the lesson and created a beautiful piece of artwork, shown below. Our students and teachers were so thrilled to have Mr. Schmerelson during their art class. We thank him for his continued support of Mayall Academy and its community.

Board Member Schmerelson Supports at Porter Middle School

Board Member Schmerelson stepped in to support at Porter Middle School on January 13th with supervision. We are so thankful for his dedication to our community!

New Quarantine and Isolation Protocols

Spring 2022 Enrichment

Registration for spring online enrichment opens at 8:00 AM on Monday January 10, 2022. Application period for spring enrichment is January 10 – January 21

Please submit one form for each child (each student requires a separate form) and each child can enroll in one spring enrichment course.

* In the case of cancellations, new spaces might become available.
