Dear GRE Families,

What a week! There is hard work happening all around GRE! This week we are full speed ahead, focusing on working hard these last 10 days before Spring Break. This week our first graders will have their musical informances. This informal performance will highlight the musical skills our first graders have developed this year. Students will be moving, chanting, singing, creating, and playing instruments. All informances will be held in the music room. The schedule is as follows:

Mrs. Dixon’s class March 9th 2:15-3:15 PM

Mrs. Branham’s class March 10th 2:15-3:15 PM

Mrs. LaSota’s class March 11th 2:15-3:15 PM

Mrs. Valentik’s class March 12th 2:15-3:15 PM

Mrs. Wampler’s class March 13th 2:15-3:15 PM

*Classes were adjusted due to snow days

We also have PTO this Thursday, March 12th. At the conclusion of the regular meeting, 4th grade teachers and parents will talk about our end of the year 4th grade celebrations. I would love to have you come check it out and see if it is something you are interested in getting involved in. We are currently looking for an entire executive board for next school year since many current members will be attending PRE. The meeting starts at 6:30 in the STEM Hub!

Here's to a GREat week at GRE!

2. Our District has an operational levy on the ballot on March 17. This ballot issue will not raise taxes; it is a continuing levy that would replace a levy that is set to expire at the end of 2020. This levy represents 12% of our budget, and it is crucial in funding daily expenses such as teachers, utilities, and supplies. To vote in the election, voter registration must be completed or updated by February 18. For more information, please visit the levy page on our website: March 17, 2020 Levy Information
