Bobcat Connection

Learning. Growing. Collaborating & Achieving @KrumHighSchool

September 10, 2018

Greetings KHS Family!

Thank you to everyone who traveled to Melissa Friday night to support our volleyball team. We also want to send a big thank you to everyone who weathered the elements and supported our football team as they played their first home game Friday night.

This week is another full week of academic and extracurricular activities. If you are a freshman or junior and you are wanting to take the PSAT, payments are due to Mrs. Oh on Monday. This is your opportunity to qualify for National Merit Scholarships. On Wednesday we will have an anti-drug, anti-alcohol, and anti-bullying presentation from the Seven Project. The Seven Project has visited more than 600,000 students in over 1000 schools to increase national awareness of issues relevant to students. The goal of the Seven Project is to challenge students to think carefully about the choices they face. During this multimedia school assembly students will be challenged to become excellent in every aspect of their lives.

We have two weeks left before the first eligibility check (September 21st). Students, it is imperative that you are staying on top of your academics. Extracurricular programs are an integral part of college and career preparation. They provide many leadership opportunities and real-world experiences. With that said, it is imperative that we remember the reason we are here is academic excellence. Please give your best effort.

Again, thank you for working together in the best interest of our students. We appreciate your support. Let's make it a great week!

Go Bobcats!

Do you have items to donate to Goodwill? Consider Donating to KHS Theatre for Upcoming Performance

Theatre seeking random donations for Upcoming Show

We are building a very large set for this upcoming show. It's supposed to be a mansion with 9 rooms onstage.

With that said, we need a lot of random things. Mrs. Bush stated, "I could post a list of items, but you'd get tired of reading it."

If you have items that you planned on sending to Goodwill, please consider letting us take those off of your hands.

we need all sorts of furniture, nick-knacks, clothing, wall hangings, kitchen items, game room stuff, fake plants, rugs, clocks, pictures, name it and we probably need it.

Theatre would LOVE the help and donations.
