Note: FLEX Online will NOT have days off of school when neighborhood schools close to get ready for Hybrid learning after the break.

Forecasting Information - current grades 5-11

Forecasting for the 2021-22 school year is coming up. Grade level forecasting forms will be delivered by email on Monday, March 29th. The deadline to submit your forecast form is 5pm on April 6th. Please complete one form per student, for students who will be in grades 6-12 next fall.

Star Wars Virtual Escape Room

Join Beaverton Safe Routes to School on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Baby Yoda’s Safe Journey: A Star Wars Virtual Escape Room. As a continuation of the Star Wars saga, you will encounter familiar characters such as Finn and Ray, C-3PO, Chewbacca, BB-8, and even Darth Vader! To help Baby Yoda participants will learn more about walking, biking, and taking COVID-19 safety precautions all while solving curious puzzles and becoming Safe Routes Jedi Knights. Upon completion of your mission (about 20-30 minutes), 10 Jedis will be selected to earn a Bicycle Prize Pack (Nutcase helmet, bike lock, bike pump, and bike light) on March 31st. Beaverton School District Marathon Kids Spring Run (K-5)

We are excited to announce our Marathon Kids Spring Run 2021! We will run the week of March 19-28. We can’t wait to see how many of you participate with us.

What is it?

  • A chance to run and track your miles for Marathon Kids!

  • Time to get outside this spring and exercise

Where can I find more information?

Where do I run?

  • On the website there are 1 mile routes near your school to use

  • You could run a route near your home and track it on your own

Do I need to sign up?

  • No need to sign up! Just do your run, track your mileage and enter it into your students Marathon Kids account.

What if I don’t have a Marathon Kids account?

When is the Spring Run?

  • The Spring Run will be during the week of March 19-28th.

We reached our goal and will be able to bring the "This IS Kalapuyan Land" exhibit to the FLEX Online School learning community and will fund learning materials with a Q&A session with the curator of the Five Oaks Museum. Your support made these events possible - thank you!

The students chose one character that they connect with from the reading. Using a variety of symbols, colors, direct text, important takeaways, and their overall connections, the student will showcase what they have learned on one page, in turn they can share their knowledge with others.

Clothes for Kids

The link to schedule an online Clothes for Kids Appointment is under the Families tab on the District's website. Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. or on Wednesdays between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
