April 9: Grade 9 & 10 Students will take the ACT Aspire Assessments
This 5 –part computer-based assessment measures student readiness in English, mathematics, reading, science, and writing. The assessments will be given over the course of the entire day. Room assignments will be emailed to families and posted in the main hallways.
Tentative Schedule for students taking the ACT Aspire under standard testing conditions:
7:20 Welcome, Attendance
7:30 Distribution of tickets & Instructions
7:40 - 8:25 Test 1 English
8:25 - 8:35 break
8:40 - 9:55 Test 2 Math
9:55 - 10:10 break
10:15 - 11:20 Test 3 Reading
11:20 - 12:20 Lunch Break & Gym Activities
12:25 - 12:30 regroup, instructions
12:35 - 1:35 Test 4 Science
1:35 - 1:45 break
1:50 - 2:30 Test 5 Writing
2:35 Dismissal
Students must bring fully charged chromebook and charging cord.
Junior and Senior Workshops
On April 9th during the ACT Aspire East Campus will be open for 11th and 12th grade students to receive help on AP/IB tests as well as college information, resume building, and scholarship information. All sessions are open and students can arrive anytime between 7:20-2:40. This is optional and should be used as a time to receive support and help.

April 15 and 17: Grade 10 Students will take the Wisconsin Forward Social Studies Exams.
This is a 2-part computer-based assessment that measures the student’s knowledge of the WI state social studies standards.
Students are reminded to bring their OASD issued Chromebooks FULLY CHARGED along with the charging cord to each testing session.
Students who do not have an OASD Chromebook must check one out from the library prior to testing.

Here are the upcoming career cluster prides that are being offered with WCTC. Industry speakers will be there so talk about their careers as well as answer questions. Interest in WCTC is not necessary to attend. Students will sign up through Flexisched to sign up for these Prides.
