Below is a link to an online tool, created by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). It is designed to serve as a resource for information about changes in college admission events, deposit dates and more as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

Adjustment to the Admissions Requirements for University System of Georgia (USG) Institutions. Please visit our School Counselor web site as well and look for the post at the bottom entitled, "USG Institutions Admission Adjustments."

CREDIT RECOVERY or FLEX (ONLINE CLASSES)

Is your student working on either one of the above online classes? Students should have received an email informing them they should be continually working on their assignments, post-tests, etc. from home. If you have questions about Credit Recovery, please email Dr. Aarestad, brittany_aarestad@dekalbschoolsga.org, Dr. Walker, shanesa_m_walker@dekalbschoolsga.org, or any teacher you are familiar with to assist you.

9th Grade Guidance Lessons (Child Lures)

  • 9th Graders were provided (Child Lures) lessons, during their Health classes the entire week of March 3-6, 2020. A letter was sent home in November 2019 explaining the program and opting out if necessary.

10-11th Grade Guidance Lessons {NAVIANCE}

  • 10th Graders will begin on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Due date for completing all tasks is Monday, March 30, 2020. The 5 tasks that need to be completed are listed below.

  • 11th Graders will begin on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Due date for completing all tasks is Tuesday, March 31, 2020. The 7 tasks that need to be completed are listed below.

ACADEMIC SIGNING- SENIORS

Please submit your acceptance letter to Ms. Currie via email: Deven_Currie@dekalbschoolsga.org. If this event is canceled, you will be notified via our April newsletter.

COURSE REQUESTS- 2020-21
