Leader in Me - Measurable Results Survey
As a Leader in Me Lighthouse school we are always working to understand how we can improve.
Our annual Measurable Results Survey will be open to all parents beginning Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 27th. This survey is used to collect, analyze, and report school-level outcomes as they relate to improving leadership, culture, and academics. It helps us identify our strengths and weaknesses, develop improvement plans, and monitor progress. Staff and students in grades 4-5 will be surveyed, as well. All of your responses are completely anonymous.
Our goal is for at least 53 families to respond to the survey. We need about 15 more families to reach our goal.
The survey should take you approximately 10 minutes to complete. Thank you!

The Silver Springs community needs you!
At our May 18 general PTA meeting we will vote on a slate of officers for the 2022-23 school year. We need to fill the following positions:
● PTA president.
● 1st VP
● 2nd VP
These positions can be what you make it! You will have the support and “how to” guides of past officers, knowledge of the Northville PTA council, and the network of
other area PTA presidents.
What is the Silver Springs PTA?
Simply, the PTA is a group of parents that have organized to work to help children thrive and learn — that means fundraising, educating parents, helping teachers/staff, advocating for legislation to ensure every child gets a high-quality education, and organizing activities in our school community. We hope each family and teacher joins our PTA to show commitment and support to our PTA and all the things we provide for Silver Springs:
*Junior Enrichment Series (JES) * Teacher Allocations * Learning Resources for all the students
*Reflections *Gal with a Pal Dance* Science Fair *Kindergarten Round-Up * March is Reading Month activities* Teacher and Staff Appreciation & Hospitality Events *Yearbook * School Directory * Lunch Leaders * LAN (Legislation Action Network) * Trunk or Treat * Skating Nights * Multicultural night
Without new leadership (and volunteers to coordinate events), we may lose the opportunity to provide enrichment opportunities for students, support our staff, and continue to build a strong Silver Springs community.
Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to take a larger role in keeping Silver Springs a great place to learn and grow!
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much

Habit #7: Sharpen the Saw
What this means: Balance feels best. In order to maintain and increase effectiveness, we must renew ourselves in body, mind, heart and soul.
“I take care of my body by eating right, exercising, and getting sleep.”
“I find meaningful ways to help others.”
“I spend time with family and friends.”
“I learn in lots of ways and places, not just at school.”
How can I do this in my life?
1. Go for a walk.
2. Read a book.
3. Volunteer in your community.
4. Value the difference in others.
