Three Branches of Goverment
Legislative
What is the Legislative Branch?
Well, the legislative branch is one of three branches of government. In this particular branch they focus on funds for the federal government assistance to the 50 U.S. states, and national laws. The legislative branch is made up of the Congress. The Congress is composed of two parts the House of Representatives and the Senate. The senate has the power to impeach (fire for a certain reason) the president while the House deals with revenue bills.
Salaries
As you know the legislative branch is made up of congress, which is made up of two parts, the House of Representatives and senate. But the question is how much do these people make in one year? We'll, I'll tell you. U.S. Representatives and senators both usually make about $174,000 ( or more) per year. That and they get health benefits. Like health insurance, life insurance , vision and dental coverage, and also a retirement plan. Wow!Those are some pretty good benefits of being a U.S. Representative or senator!
