Dear Tuscany Heights Elementary Parents,

We hope that you've had a wonderful weekend! We look forward to greeting our students tomorrow. This week, if your child is participating in the character pumpkin decorating, get those in by Wednesday, October 18th. We are excited to see all the characters! We also look forward to hosting our WatchDOGS this Friday, October 20th for breakfast. The 20th will also be make-up day for fall pictures if you are interested.

T.H.E. PTA Presents...BIKE RODEO will be Thursday, Oct 26th, starting at 7:45 AM. We will start with 5th grade, then kindergarten through 4th grade. We hope to end around 11:30 am.

Here are a few reminders:

*Bike drop-off will be Wednesday, 10/25, 5-7 PM and Thursday, 10/26, 7-7:45 AM, Drop off is at Gym #1 in the back of the school.

*All bikes MUST be picked up by Thursday afternoon.

*Label bikes and helmets with your child's name/grade/teacher.

*Bike Rodeo spectators need to park in visitor parking and check in through the front office.

Honorary Texas PTA Life Membership Award - An Honorary Texas Life Membership is the highest honor bestowed upon an individual by the Texas PTA for outstanding contributions to the well-being of children and youth. If you know someone who has gone the “extra mile” for our children, then please consider nominating this individual for this very special award. Please complete a nomination form found here and return it to the Tuscany Heights PTA in a sealed envelope labeled “Life Membership.” Be sure to include a summary on why you believe this person should receive this award. Awards will be announced and presented at T.H.E. PTA General Meeting, December 5. Please return all nominations by Monday, October 23.

Greenbacks - PARTNER up with THE PTA to help fund programs and educational opportunities all year long. When we reach our goal of $5000, Mrs. Bailey will get lassoed to the flagpole. Calling all Watch D.O.G.S!

Paws for a minute and join us for “Breakfast with Dads”, an informative meeting about serving as a Hero of the Hallway at Tuscany Heights! We'll meet in the library on 10/20 from 7:15-7:40AM. Come learn about the program and learn how to schedule your dates to be a Watch DOG on campus!

We will be taking photos to share on social media so be ready to smile!
