Calling All "Gamers and Game Designers" a note from the METI
Hello Camp Creek Parents and Students,
The Games for Change Student Challenge will begin on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Classes will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30 pm -4:30 pm. The program is open to all students in grades 6 - 8, no experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and to try something new. Each week, I will teach the students the G4C curriculum, however, students are able to move at their own pace.
On Wednesday, January 20th, I will host an information session where I will discuss the challenge, the rules, how to submit a game, basic game design, and the upcoming Game Jam.
I included this link on the flyer for interested students to sign up
Please share the link as well as the flyer with students in the next call out or over the weekend.
Thank you,
Mrs. Atkinson-Simmons, Media & Educational Tech Instructor (METI)
