Troop 105 Tree Drive Fundraiser
Greetings, Pembroke!
The Scouts of Troop 105 are excited to announce that their annual Christmas Tree Drive fundraiser will be on Saturday, January 4, 2020 beginning at 9:00 am. For $12 the Scouts of Troop 105 will pick up your natural Christmas tree.
For information about the Tree Drive and to register for your tree to be picked up, please go to www.troop105treedrive.com. To register (see the "Register" tab at the top of the page) we will need your name, address, phone number, and email address. Any special instructions that you think will make it easier for us to find your tree or address are much appreciated and can be left in the "Comment" section of the registration form.
Your reservation is also appreciated as soon as possible. We ask that all reservations be received no later than 5:00 pm on January 2nd.
Place either $12 cash or a check (payable to "BSA Troop 105") in a plastic bag and attach it to each Christmas tree. Please leave the tree at the end of your driveway or curbside by 9:00 am on Saturday, January 4th and the Scouts will be by that day to pick it up.
Please note that we cannot accept wreaths or artificial trees.
If you are a previous Tree Drive participant, please check out the Lost & Found page on the Tree Drive website to see if one of your ornaments was found. We will update this page after our next Tree Drive if we find more ornaments, so check back after January 4th.
Feel free to contact me with any questions at dryneedle105@aol.com or my number below. Your continued support of Troop 105 is greatly appreciated.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Athletic Facilities Ad Program
Pembroke Public Schools has launched an athletic facilities advertising program for the 2019-2020 school year. We are inviting local businesses the opportunity to purchase a
banner that will be displayed at the new athletic field complex. There are two banner sizes available and those purchased will be on display for one calendar year with the first
option of renewal for the following year.
Sponsoring a sign is not only a great way to support our schools; it's also an amazing form of marketing for your business. Our track and field complex is a central part of the
community with hundreds of visitors attending athletic events. This means your business will not only have branding in front of these visitors but will also be known as a supporter of Pembroke Public Schools. If you would like to participate in this opportunity please contact me directly at 781-829-0832 or
Sharon.Monteforte@PembrokeK12.org.
Thank you,
Sharon Monteforte
Pembroke Public Library Events- January 2020
Mini Movers Storytime
Toddlers (ages 2 to 5) can enjoy a creative movement lesson and storytime lead by Miss Erin, owner and artistic director of Pembroke’s Etoile Dance + Yoga Studio. Caregivers will be able to sit and relax while their little ones stretch, jump, and move! Space is limited for this free workshop; please sign up by visiting or contacting the library.
Raising a Reader
Caregivers and their children (ages 2-5) will join Big Ryan (of Big Ryan's Tall Tales) in a free, six-week session of the early literacy program "Raising a Reader." Experience first-hand the techniques used to make literature more engaging for young children and get new books every week! We would like to thank the South Shore Family Network for sponsoring these sessions. Space is limited for these free workshops; please sign up by visiting or contacting the library.
Puppies & Pages
Readers of all ages may read to a certified therapy dog to develop their literacy and presentation skills as well as build confidence and self-esteem. This program provides a supportive environment to practice reading aloud. This is a drop-in event.
LEGO Club
Build LEGO creations to a theme! Ages 5+ are welcome to come and build with the library LEGOs. LEGO Club is designed to give kids a safe, creative environment in which they can freely build with LEGOs, interact with peers, and express themselves! Each month has a challenge in which the builders can participate, but we encourage thinking out of the box.
Tic-Tac-Toe To-Go Kids Craft
Ages 7-12 are invited to create a Tic-Tac-Toe game (to go!). Color a canvas bag and make the game unique to you! Space is limited for this free workshop; please sign up by visiting or contacting the library.
Teen Jigsaw Puzzle Race
Race against the clock and other builders as you work to complete a 100-piece puzzle. Teens (ages 12-18) may compete solo or in teams. Snacks will be provided. Prizes will be given for winners and runners-up! Pre-register your team at the youth services desk.
