K-3 Formative Assessment Process Online Module Opportunity Available Now - Great Way to Earn Summer CEUs!
The Office of Early Learning is excited to launch an online professional development module for the NC K-3 Formative Assessment Process. This 10-hour module (course #6197) is intended for teachers, instructional coaches, or any educator who would like to expand their knowledge and understanding of this process or even just dig a little deeper into the NC K-3 FAP, including the Kindergarten Entry Assessment (KEA).
Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the five critical components of the formative assessment process through a variety of examples, photos, videos, and activities that are intended to support classroom implementation. This interactive module allows for participants to work at their own pace either independently or with a group of peers. In addition, guidance (https://rt3nc.org/pubs/impguide/) for facilitating a group learning experience is available for districts or groups who would like to move through the content of the module in a more systematic and collaborative manner.
Participants will earn 1 Literacy CEU upon completion.
