Thank you!
Marking period 4 is complete! Students are in full swing with spring sports, UIL competitions, course selections for 2019-2020, and counting days until Spring Break, summer, and/or graduation. We will be busy during the 5th marking period securing credits, staying on track with attendance, planning for our future on campus and off, and representing Tivy and TFND spirit in all we do. Thank you for your continued support of Tivy High School and Kerrville ISD.
Report Cards, Thursday, February 21st
If a student is failing one or more classes at the close of marking period 4, students will become ineligible for UIL contests/games on Friday, February 22nd at 3:30. Please speak with your student's sponsor or coach if there are questions regarding eligibility.
Everyday Counts!
We are checking our numbers! Everyday on campus counts for students. You can see our attendance by grade level posted on the office windows. Students enjoy exam exemptions for grades and good attendance.
Recently, we rewarded our highest percentage grade level with an "early out" for the end of the day. Students got a head-start the last few minutes to the bus, parking lot, or practice. Our freshman class claimed the first "early out".

Vaping Information
We received this guide on Vaping from our Education Resource Center. Please open the PDF below; It contains good information for parents to know. Thank you for partnering with us to help our students make positive choices.
Visitor Parking and Entrances
1. Visitor parking is located in the student parking lot on north side of campus. Please use those spaces to park and proceed to school entrance.
2. All exterior doors are locked throughout the school day. There will be door bells to press for entrance starting this week. Please plan accordingly when visiting the campus. If you need additional assistance, please contact the school office and we will be happy to help.
3. Deliveries to campus for students must be brought into the office. We do not want students meeting cars in parking lots for deliveries. Please partner with us to keep students in supervised areas. As part of student safety, students are instructed to not open outside doors for visitors.
4. If you are visiting campus for an event or meeting, we ask that you enter the school at office entrance, sign in, and receive a visitor's badge.
Digital Footprints for Our Students #7
Student social media of choice is SnapChat. Students use this forum to share information with one another and document their lives. Ask your student about their SnapChat and if they know all of the people who follow them on social media. We encourage students to keep their social media circle to students they interact with daily and caution accepting friend requests and/or followers they don't know. We will continue to encourage positive and safe use of all social media platforms.
Please continue to partner with us by having these conversations at home with your students. Students are encouraged to "say something if they see something" using our P3 Campus system or by visiting with any administrator or counselor on campus.
