Whats the Purpose?
As the Preamble States, it is used to "form a more perfect union, establish justice and insure domestic tranquility. Provide for the common defense. Promote general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity."
What is States is that the Constitutions is made for the people, its somewhat a guideline, giving the people stability and order, protects their liberties, and serve the people.
Whats The Structure?
Article I establishes the legislative branch, procedures for making laws, and powers Congress does not have. Article II creates an executive branch to carry out laws passed by Congress. Article III establishes a Supreme Court to head the judicial branch. Article IV explains the relationship of states to one another and to the national government.
