He got rid of the National Bank

He had a bad feeling about the government bank because it only helped the wealthier class. So during his presidency he vetoed the National Bank and it was gone. After that some of the money went to the non-wealthier class and this helped them so getting rid of the National Bank was a good thing.

He got rid of the Native Americans

When the country saw the discovery of gold on the Native Americans land he knew he had to do something about it so he got rid of the Native Americans for the better of the country.

He was known as the Common Man

Since he grew up with a poor family he knew the struggles every poor family had. So when he ran for President he was able to relate to the non-wealthy class and that made them like him and vote for him.
