After considerable deliberation and research, we have decided to move our current self-hosted system as a single Follett Destiny district to a system where each school district/independent library will be hosted by Follett separately. This will accommodate single sign-on issues and provide secure student updates for each district/independent school as well as addressing a number of other issues that we are experiencing currently. Follett has promised to provide a means of providing interlibrary loan among participating members, which will be ready before the start of the new school year and refined to provide tracking and statistics during the course of the year. This transfer will start immediately after the end of the school year, and we are planning to have everything in place with the new system for the opening of school.

Thank you for taking the time with us to explore an alternative that has many of the features that we are anticipating in future updates of Destiny Discover. This was a very difficult decision for us, and we appreciate your patience and interest in Accessit library management software.

The 2021 Virtual Summer Conference "School Libraries: HeadQuarters for High Quality Learning" will be held Tuesday, July 13- Thursday, July 15. Participants will register for individual sessions customizing their schedule. The number of sessions offered will be determined by the number of accepted proposals, the recruitment of specialized sessions, and RILINK Staff offerings.

We are especially interested in librarian-led sessions related to supporting the curriculum or to improving practice in general. Those interested in presenting at the conference should complete the "Summer Conference Proposal Form" linked below.

The conference schedule and registration will be available the second week in June.

RILINK has scheduled two sessions for the March statewide professional development day.

Learn about the best ways to display content both for visual appeal and accessibility. Best practices when adding Images or Video to a site will be demonstrated. Suggested uses for Standard, Gallery, and Tabbed boxes will also be demonstrated.

Having a second device is recommended to go through the steps as they are demonstrated.
