The main goal of this IO3 is to develop a training program through a structured set of tasks enabling the learner to develop a new set of skills and Game knowledge literacies. These tasks will enable to learn how to implement games at educational level applied to a tourism service.
The Training program fosters personal knowledge management and resource network building and Social Media tools allow instructors (teachers) to improve knowledge exchange, which supports their individual’s personal knowledge and resource management and contributes to the personalization of learning processes.
The training program including 3 different game services from the educational/service point of view, which is expected to answer these questions:
-What is the actual cultural/tourism consumption model we want to shift?
-What is the new offer?
-How do they operate?
-How do they sell?
-What do they sell?
-What are the realistic needs and possible changes to be implemented?

This training program is designed for 5 days so it can be included in KA1 calls. All partners benefit by hosting this training in their countries after project ends as granting sustainability.
The training program is part of the MOOC 4.0

Second Phase
The second half of the meeting is dedicated to new business models for tourism services, and the BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS tool designed by Prime Holland is used for this purpose.
Italian and Romanian partners are planning to develop their business models according to the games they have designed.
Italian business model will be about GAMMO. The main aim of the GAMMO game is to guide the visitor in a special experience, that s/he would not be able to make by watching TV programes or visiting the city in a traditional way, guided by tourist books, or following city posts and tourist signs, following a guided tour or downloading and reading the history and traditions of Modena from institutional websites. Italian partners will use this business model concept via Airbnb platform which, is the world’s biggest accommodation-sharing site. They will rent one of their properties to guests in order to encourage the guests to play that game they have designed.
Romanian partners’ game idea is about creating a unforgettable tourism experience that addresses to visitors that are willing to take the challenge of discovering the city of Bucharest through a unique, funny and innovative way.
Visitors with different experiences and backgrounds and they are willing to rediscover themselves, to break their one barriers and to enrich their knowledge through personal discovery. This unique experiences will help individuals to be able to understand different pieces of Bucharest history, which putted together recreates the puzzle of the most beautiful European capitals, once called “Little Paris”.
Turkish business model idea is about ‘AstroFest’ event that is planning to be held in 27th of July in Cappadocia region by the coordination of Konya Science Center and Necmettin Erbakan University. This event will be designed by the collaboration of Science Center, Konya Governorship, Konya Municipality, Necmettin Erbakan University, National Education Directorate and UNICOP, Universities Network in Central Anatolis Region.
