Morning Routines at John Hancock Charter School

Arriving at school on time is extremely important for our students because we pack in a lot of instruction in the first 10 minutes of each school day.
  • Teachers greet all students outside in their line at 8:25 am
  • Students recite positive affirmations
  • Students have a mini character education lesson
  • Students sing a patriotic song
  • Students participate in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance
  • The teacher goes over the day's schedule

This morning routine sets the mood for the day and it is critical all students are at school on time to participate.

Carpool Numbers

All cars that pick up students are required to have a carpool number displayed in the lower right corner of the front windshield.

The school provides you the numbers. If you are carpooling with another family, be sure both cars have the same number.

The numbers will be provided at pick up the first week of school. Please be patient with us the first week. It takes us a few days to teach the procedure to our students and for the parents to get the hang of it.
