TVUSD At-Home Test Kit Distribution

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Family Members,

TVUSD has received our shipment of iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid At-Home test kits for students. These test kits have been provided by the State of California to ensure each student within the state has access to at least one. Please be reminded that these at-home test kits are for students' personal use only. These tests can be used to report to TVUSD Health Services if your student is Covid positive but we recommend that PCR-antigen tests or those performed by TVUSD Health Services or medical professionals be utilized for return to school clearance.

Directions for administering the iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid at-home test kits are on the back of the kit. Scan the QR code and download the app for detailed instructions for the test kit.

Please review the information below so you know how test kits will be distributed for your student(s).

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Your student test kits will be sent home with your students tomorrow, Friday, January 14th. Please be sure to check your child’s backpack when they get home to collect his or her test kit.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Big picture
We realize that not all families may be able to pick-up a test kit at this time. Our goal is to offer test kits to all families at the earliest possible opportunity. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
