PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Lincoln Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back! We are so fortunate to have the students back in our classrooms . . . just having young people in our building and doing what we love far outweighs any small glitches incurred in these first few days of getting back on track. I want to, again, thank the many parents, students, and staff who have been patient as we rolled out the 2021/2022 school year. It is our continued hope to move forward into the year as "normal" as possible and to keep our students and staff healthy.
Our newsletter is one of the most valuable tools a parent can access for Lincoln news and information. I hope you will make it a part of your routine to pull up our Friday emails and open the newsletter. Watch for plenty of information in the weeks ahead. The newsletter will answer many of your questions. Please take a moment to read through the Safe Schools information in this newsletter. Yesterday, Mr. Steen coordinated all three emergency drills for the entire school: Fire, Shelter-in-Place, and Lock-Down. Students did a great job as we practiced these important safety measures.
Please join me in welcoming these new Lincoln staff members. We are pleased to have them as part of the Lincoln team.

Have a great weekend,
Paul Suminski

Welcome back, Lincoln students! While times have changed, the PTO is still hard at work delivering on our mission to bring value to Lincoln students and staff alike. Read on for some important requests and updates from the PTO:
Please Join US - 2021/2022 PTO Membership
Last school year, despite membership being down approximately 40% due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we delivered on activities such as staff appreciation and virtual events for our students. We encourage all families to consider joining the PTO at $10 per family so that we can continue to support our school, students, and amazing teachers and support staff. Voluntary contributions above this amount are greatly appreciated.
Click here to join via contactless online payment or click here for the membership form if you wish to join via cash or check.
Note that the Lincoln PTO is a certified 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, which means your contributions are tax-deductible. An electronic student directory is included with each Lincoln PTO membership. Thank you for your support!
Seeking a Spirit Wear Chair
Interested in volunteering? The PTO functions solely on volunteers like you. New this school year, we’re seeking a Spirit Wear chairperson to manage coordination of school spirit wear sales. This will include working with the pre-selected vendor, finalizing items, consolidating orders and sorting/distributing items once they arrive. Please email info.lincolnpto@gmail.com if you’re interested in the role or would like to learn more.
We’re Online!
We’re thrilled to be online. Check out our new website at https://lincolnptod57.com/. The site includes key information about the Lincoln PTO and will be updated throughout the school year. We’re on Facebook, too. If you haven’t “liked” us yet, please do. We’re on Facebook at @LincolnPTOD57.
