2nd Grade Family Fun Night!
Eagle River Elementary School6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
We hope you can make it to our Family Fun Night! We will be starting right away at 6:00 p.m. with an awesome Kahoot! trivial game—all about Sideways Stories from Wayside School in Mrs. Simac’s and Ms. Ward’s classrooms. We hope you stay for some delicious ice cream treats and amazing building stations outside on the playground!
- Please send bug spray and sunscreen with your child's name on it. We are not allowed to apply bug spray and sunscreen on your child. You may want to apply some sunscreen before they come to school.
- Your child may bring goggles, flippers, etc.; however, we (teachers) are not responsible for any items. Your child will be responsible for whatever they bring on the field trip.
- Swimsuits - please make sure to send your child's swimsuit. If they wear their swimsuit to school that day, please make sure that they have a change of clothes (underwear, shirt, shorts, etc.)
Ethan: We just got cupcakes!
Isabellah: Today is Kari and Aiden's birthday!
Jason: Ms. Toivonen is teaching next year!
August: We are going to get a popcorn party!
Isabellah: On Mrs. Simac's birthday, I am going to come to school to see Mrs. Simac.
Braxton: Me and my cousin are going to ride our dirtbikes.
Mason: Today I am going to Ethan's house.
Jason: I am going fishing on Lake Superior this weekend!

Silver Lake Beach Field Trip
Thursday, June 4th, 11am-3pm
Silver Lake Beach, Eagle River, WI
We were able to get lifeguards and will be going on a field trip to Silver Lake Beach! Please send your child’s swimsuit and a beach towel to school in a plastic bag with their name on it. Please note whether your child will be bringing lunch or purchasing a school lunch. You are more than welcome to join us; however, we ask that you meet us at the beach due to limited room on the bus. If your child would like to fish, you may bring a fishing pole and bait; however, we will not be taking any type of fishing equipment on the bus with us. Please contact your child’s classroom teacher with any questions. Thanks!
