Over Population

By 2030, it's estimated that India will surpass China in population, which would make India the most populous country in the world. The population threatens to outgrow India's size and resources. Thanks to the efforts in the birth control campaign and the improvement of women's lifestyle, the country's rate of 2% growth every year has now been reduced to approximately 1%.

Government & Politics

The ancient culture of India has produced many multiparty democracy leaders. Many Different Ethnic Groups, Family Dynasties, and Religions have often played an important role in Politics.

80% of India's population practices Hinduism, dominating over the smaller Sikh, Muslim, Jain, Buddhist, and Christian religious communities. Because of this, there have been 2 wars between India and Pakistan, and many muslims rebels have been waging a separatist war since the 1980s. Conflicts such as these grew dangerous in 1998, but had since then tensions have reduced until 2006, when bombings on commuter trains killed more than 200 people and left 300 others injured. Muslim extremists were blamed for the attacks.

Predictions show that by this year, (2016,) India will surpass China and have the fastest growing economy in the world.

India's youth has changed the country's old world standard of living to the modern century standard. Instead of living in the villages, they're holding American jobs.
