Sports
Gaelic football and hurling are two of the most popular sports in Ireland. Gaelic football is similar to soccer, but in addition to kicking, players can also touch and carry the ball. Hurling, which is considered one of the fastest paced games in the world, has been played for 3,000 years. In this sport, players use wooden sticks and brute force to get the ball into the other team's goal.
Cultural influences
- St. Patrick's day is now celebrated in Texas
- Wearing green
Is Texas better off today due to immigration?
- We get to more culture other than Texas/American culture. Example: Tex-mex
- Texas gets diverse. Example: Here in Coppell
