Library Link

November 2019

Director's Note

We are always having a great time at the library, and this fall is no exception! We are so busy with new and fun things. Make sure you keep reading for all the amazing programs that we have planned in November.

The staff has been at trainings and conferences - we continually try to educate and better ourselves so that we can serve you better. Ask Beth, Dee, and myself what we have been up to when you stop in next.

Our new programs for adults have really taken off! Have you stopped in yet for craft time or Unraveled? We had great turnouts for author visits and most recently for ‘Lawyers in Libraries.’ We will have another program on Wills and Estates after the New Year. The topic is very popular and we had lots of interest in hosting another program.

And for the first time, we are offering an Escape Room for adults! ‘Trapped in the Upsidedown’ is a Stranger Things themed escape room (no knowledge of Stranger Things is needed). We will offer one night for Teens, November 1st and a second night for adults only on November 2nd. There are specific time spots, so please contact us to register. Stop in, call 515-989-0909, or message us on Facebook!

And just a reminder, we are closed November 28th and 29th. Happy Thanksgiving!
