Their overall favorite of the activities had to be rock climbing and fishing. Skye Brown said, “It was an adventurous experience,” and James Hawkins said, “It was an interesting trip and was very educational.” Many 6th graders said that they had an amazing time at Camp Kanuga and would love to go again someday.
6th Grade Staycation
The 6th grade staycationers did activities while others went to Camp Kanuga. Some of the activities included playing board games and doing minute-to-win games. They also watched movies, built towers with dry spaghetti, and enjoyed the nice weather outside. McKensley Gilstrap, Sarah Vuknic, and River Rhodes enjoyed these activities. Their favorite activities were to win it, hanging out with friends, and trying to balance the spaghetti for the tower. ¨My favorite part would be hanging out with friends.¨ Teachers who stayed with them were Mrs. Boswell, Miss Silvey, and Mrs. McCoy.
