A Note from Dr. Reynolds
WBE Families,
It's hard to believe that we are already into February, this year is going by fast. As I hear all the things in the media about other districts not being in school, I can't help but feel thankful that we have had our building full of students this year. I know things have looked different and the students have been separated from other groups, but they are here and they are learning. I am also thankful that our district has provided the option of online learning through the SVA for those who need to learn from home. I know we have missed having our parents here to volunteer each day and we have missed not having events and programs. As we complete the year we will try our best to do as many things as we can to provide opportunities virtually. Typically we have a family stem night each year. While we will not be able to have one in person, we do plan to have a Virtual Family Stem week and will have information coming soon. We also want to have as many things for our 5th grade students as possible. We will have steam club for 5th, as well as a 5th grade program. We are still working on the details and will let you know as things progress. Many of you may not know but there are forty 5th grade students who were here when the school opened in August of 2015. We are working on a special way to recognize these students. As always thank you so much for your continued support and partnership.

Nurse Updates
Please continue to monitor your child and consult with your doctor for any symptoms of illness such as fever, chills, headache, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, new loss of taste and/or smell, vomiting or diarrhea. If your child has a fever >100, they must stay home and be fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medications before returning to school. Also, as a reminder, if your child is tested for COVID-19, they must remain out of school until the test results come back. Please email or fax the results to me.
