Year 8 Health Survey
By Oscar
Introduction
During the past couple of health classes I have been creating a health survey. This survey has been made to cover these factors thier mental and physical health, diet, medical needs, amount of time spent on physical activity, ocupation and about thier support networks. The survey was then sent to 9 people of variouse ages and sex and thier answers colected and made into a graphs the graphs and answers have been represented here below. Unfortanatly most of my answers were collected from a younger age group due to lack of response this will obviously affect the answers of the survey.
As you can see there was a 2-1 majority of boys to girls in this survey
78% of people that did this survey ate the recomended amount of fruit meaning that they had a healthy diet. This suprised me as i thought that people would not eat as much fuit as they did.
Obviously this is one of the questions that were affected by asking a younger age group with most participants saying they were students
I was very suprised with these answers as i expected more people to have asthma or other medical conditions like this one.
Note that with sensitive questions like this participants did not have to answer if they didnt want to.
This is another question that would have been affected by the age group problem with it becoming harder to exercise as people get older. The answers to this question did not suprise me due to many of the people surveyed being students.
I was suprised with the answers to this question due to the amount of processed food eaten now.
This was a great out come with all the particicpants saying they were relativly happy with thier fitness
In the making of this question i did not think that 100% of the people would be part of a sporting club this greatly suprised me
This question was also suprising i expected the average amount of time spent on physical activity would be less
It was great to see that many of the participants had someone to confide with but with this question i think i shoud have added a "Friends and Family" response
