Must See and Feel Divcibare

Divčivare is a mountainous area near Valjevo. It is a beautiful place and many people come here with their families and friends to enjoy themselves . It is also very healthy and refreshing. Divčibare is not a big mountain and it is not an urban area, which makes it very popular with people who like quiet and untouched nature. The plateau of Divčibare (which means "the girl's marshes") was named to commemorate the tragic death of a young girl who fell into the Crna Kamenica river, by accident.


Divčibare Hotel Divčibare has a couple of hotels and they all are very nice and comfortable. The biggest one is the Divčibare Hotel. In this hotel you can find friendly staff and good food, especially traditional Serbian food, such as cabbage rolls and beans. It also has an indoor pool, and it is a wonderful feeling to swim there when it is snowing outside. You can relax in the hotel's cafe, or play snooker and table tennis.	Holiday homes Divčibare has been growing in the last few year and now there are many holiday homes. Most of them are not for rent but some of them you can rent at low prices. Here you can find many types of holiday homes - from cabins, bungalows, apartment blocs to villas.	Crni vrh Crni vrh (1093m) is the highest peak of Divčibare plateau. The distance from the center is 1.5km or 35 minutes walk through a forest of pine and birch, overgrown with grass and blueberries. It's covered with rocks and grass, and if the weather is nice and clear, you can see many other mountains, from Suvobor, Kopaonik, Zlatibor, to evan as far as Durmitor in Montenegro.
