INTERNATIONAL CULTURES WEEK
What a fun week we had! We learned about Africa, Italy, Canada, Mexico, China, Germany and Japan.
Looking at the globe on Monday, their very first observation was.....where we live is SMALL and then.....there is so much water!
Our snacks at Eagle recess reflected the country or countries we were studying about.
On Monday we had "wild animals" from Africa (animal crackers) , Tuesday, chips and salsa, Wednesday, Fairy Bread from Australia, Thursday, pretzels from Germany, and the Friday finale, "sushi" from Japan. Ms. Shelli was so kind to prepare "sushi" from rice crispy treats, twizzlers and fruit roll ups for us!
A reminder from the Upper School : The book store will be open before and after school. There are Golf Shirts, T-shirts, Jackets, Cook books, Sweatshirts AND USED football jerseys for purchase. (our boys thought that was super cool:) Also, FREE State Championship videos of the game are available.
I checked last week on the availability of smaller sizes and they do have some in most every type clothing. You can always wear an NCS shirt on Mondays!
