Grandparent's Day
Grandparent's Day is just around the corner. On Grandparent's Day, we invite all grandparents and other important figures in our students' lives to come and enjoy breakfast and spend some time in the classroom.
A few things you should know and can hopefully share with any grandparents that you have invited.
- Breakfast will be served all morning, starting at 8:30 am.
- Our parking lot is small (as you all know) and parking will be limited.
- Please encourage grandparents to come to school close to the assigned time for their grandchild's grade level. This will allow parking spaces to open up for all.
- Students will be in their classrooms and will not be having breakfast with the grandparents, so come for as much or as little time as you would like to enjoy breakfast and then visit classrooms at the scheduled time.
The intention of this day is to honor our grandparents, and also allow them to have the opportunity to see what students are learning about in school. Activities will range from traditional classwork to Thanksgiving and Grandparent's Day crafts.

Look For the Good - Gratitude Wall
One of the core elements of our Look for the Good campaign is our Gratitude Wall. Every day students take 1 minute to think about something that they are grateful for and write it on a sticky note. The notes fill our hallway. Here are a few of my favorite notes:

Donations Needed
Our health room is in need of gently used clothing for students who might need an emergency change of clothes for the day. We are specifically looking for boys KG-5th grade and girls 1-5th grade. We mostly need pants and some short sleeve and long sleeve shirts. If we end up with more than we need we will donate the rest to ARC.
