Dear St. Jerome Families,


I usually only write bullet points for the reminders, but I wanted to add two notes to start off the week.


First, I want to thank our Home and School Association for providing a water ice treat on the Feast of St. Jerome. We are grateful for their support in providing activities and experiences for our students.


Also, I will be attending the annual Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Elementary Administrator's Conference in Cape May Tuesday after school, and all day Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Sister Lisa and our colleagues throughout the archdiocese will be attending for professional development, retreat, and time to socialize while sharing best practices. During that time, I leave the school in the very capable hands of our faculty and staff, under the supervision of Fr. Reilly.

Reminders for the Week:

*Click here for the St. Jerome Parish Sunday Bulletin; please join us for Sunday Mass each week: 4:30 PM (Saturday Vigil), 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM & 11:00 AM. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is offered on Saturdays from 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM or by appointment.


*Please remember that there is no school on Monday for a Faculty Professional Development Day for both our school and St. Lucy School.


*Festival t-shirts are still on sale, and the form may be found here. The shirts may be worn on any St. Jerome Spirit Day and are available in kid's sizes small, medium, and large as well as adult sizes small, medium, large, and extra large.


*Sixsmith is working on completing the rest of our fall spirt wear order; the remainder of the orders should be going home this week. We will be doing another order for Christmas in a few weeks.


*We are looking forward to Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 21st at 6:30 PM. Please see the flyer here for more information.


*Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia made enhancements to their scholarship application this year. They removed the 4 year limit, created a minimum

scholarship amount ($1,200), and updated income requirements. Apply for a scholarship now: www.csfphiladelphia.org/scholarship


*Picture retakes will be on Thursday, November 3rd. If you are having your child's pictures retaken, please send back the original pictures on that morning. 8th Grade picture packets have arrived and will be sent home on Tuesday.
