Teacher Appreciation Week May 3-7

We are so grateful to have the most amazing families in our PTA!! We feel so loved and appreciated! Thank you for decorating our doors and donating such wonderful food and gifts to our teachers! It's great to be a Maple Grove Grizzly! A special shout out to Kathy Johnson, Judyann Balukoff, Kelley Flint and Katy Colbert for endless hours of support this week!

The teachers and staff have had the most fun finding and earning tickets for the basket auction in hopes of winning their favorite basket. Thank you to everyone that donated time, money and gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week. It has been a blast!!

No End of Year Celebrations

Due to Covid, we will not be having any end of year graduations or celebrations. The teachers may choose to celebrate with their class but we won't be having outside visitors coming in.

Sixth grade is starting a new tradition! In lieu of a formal celebration with parents, Mrs. Quistberg and Mr. Luthy will surprise the kids with a "FUN DAY" on the last day of school. Due to numbers and social distancing, this will be for 6th grade students only. More information will be shared with the students at a later date.

Medication Pick Up for End of School Year

****If your child has medication in the Health Office****

Please come get your child’s medication before the last day of school, by May 27th. They will not have backpacks on the last day.

Medication may not be left at the school over the summer.

Any unclaimed medication left at the school will be disposed of properly.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Nurse Dawn and Sara

Bike Rodeo

This year's bike rodeo was a success! The kids had a lot of fun with their bikes and scooters! Students learned how to ride bikes, how to use hand signals and received helmets if they needed one. Thank you to our sponsors Valley Regional Transit and Safe Routes to School, and Ms. Schaffeld for putting on the bike rodeo!
