Q&A with the RAS
What's your favorite thing about the Village?
Cat: My favorite thing about the village is being able to cook meals with friends and not having to walk more than 10 feet to do so!
Molly: fruit trees & steps from the creek!
Angie: One of my favorite things about the village is the fact that they are LEED certified because that's so cool not many dorms are like that and also just how spontaneous it is. One day you walk in and there's free food on the table and the next people are making their own laundry detergent it's different.
Nico: My favorite thing about the village would be the friendly and family like environment. People can be themselves and feel comfortable doing what they want.
Katie: Being able to build community & the convenience
Ari: My favorite thing about living in the village was cooking with my house mates and friends!
What are you most excited for this year?
Cat: I am extremely excited to form new connections and maybe even share recipes:)
Molly: All the awesome new learning that is bound to take place:D
Angie: This year I'm excited for all of the fun classes I'm taking
Nico: I am really excited going rafting during block, climbing more, and meeting all the new students.
Katie: To build upon what I learned last year
Ari: I'm most excited for my fall block course because I'll be bike packing in amazing landscapes!
Best tip you have for living in the halls…
Cat: Something that's important to do when you're living in the village is to go outside of your comfort zone and interact with new people. Another thing to remember is to use the resources that are provided to you.
Molly: Best tip for living in the halls: Just be yourself and communicate clearly!
Angie: Bring a lamp!
Nico: The best tip I have for living in the halls is cooperation.
Katie: Clean your s**t! (Jk) Be respectful of others and create a "PC family!"
Ari: My best tip for living in the halls is organizing ahead of time with your housemates who's bringing what and who is willing to share cooking supplies.
