Mid-Term is Near
Team Columbia:
The Midterm for the last quarter is near. Please encourage students to finish strong by turning in assignments and taking advantage of office hours if needed. Teachers, please ensure that you are keeping up with your grading.
Also, please note, we will operate the 4-Period Lunch Schedule every Monday until the end of the school year.
Lastly, a big thanks to each of you, whatever your role was on last Tuesday. It was a tiring day, but we made it through. Things went quite smoothly. Thanks to Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Jagielski, Mrs. Whitman, and Mr. Hayden for coordinating testing, field trips, and senior activities.

First Lunch Duty – Formby, Wesley, Acoff, and Wright
Second Lunch Duty – Mayfield, Smith, and McLemore

District Surveys to be given in Advisory

Student Surveys during Advisory
The survey window is open until next Friday, April 13.
The website to take the surveys is: https://surveys.panoramaed.com/huntsville
- A weblink to this webpage can also be found on a student’s “class links” on his/her laptop.
- A weblink will also be placed on Managebac.
Students will need to use to enter their SSIDs in order to log in and take their surveys, which can be found in an envelop in your mailboxes.
There are only 3 surveys this year, and each survey should only take 5 minutes to complete.
Final Exam Turn-in
- Due to laptop collection, all Final Exams should be completed on paper for Grades 9-11. Scantron sheets will be ordered.
- Senior Exams are the week of May 14-17. They may use their laptops. Laptop turn in for Seniors will begin on May 18 and May 21.
- A copy of your final exam and answer key is due in the Principal's office by May 11, 2018 by 4:00 PM.
- Teachers should work together to develop common assessments for final exams by courses. (Ex. English 9, English 10, US History 11, Government, etc.)
Educate Alabama Deadline
- You must have one piece of evidence entered each month for each indicator.

One-Drive Pupil Referral Document
- You will now only be able to filter the “person referred” column only to find your students. Remember, if you filter the document please be considerate of others and remove the filter from the document once you are finished entering your students.
- The issue with incorrect teachers being listed under the “advisory teacher” column should be resolved.
- Please review the FAQ document for information regarding the referral process.
- Remember, always use the SMORE to access the One Drive Pupil Referral Form.
