The World of Westwood Wolves

Choose Your Own Adventure!

November 8-12, 2021

From the principal's office...

We had a great week at Westwood! If you have a kindergartner, ask him or her about Tommy the Turtle visiting their classrooms Thursday! Can you even believe the cool weather we've had? This is a great time to remind your kids to look in the lost and found here at school- we already have quite a collection of jackets and sweaters. If you're like me, this is also the time you figure out that your kids have no matching gloves from last year and have outgrown all their warmer clothes! Let us know if you need any help with jackets, etc.

Masks- we are totally out of masks. We had around 30 kids come in today asking for one. We are so thankful they want to continue wearing them, but they need to bring them from home as we cannot continue to supply them daily to mostly the same students.

Mrs. Crumby (your proud principal)

Need a car seat or a free flu shot? Check this out!

UAMS is hosting a health and safety event in Springdale next weekend- Saturday, November 13th from 8-2 at St. Raphael. We will have a limited number of free car seats and car seat checks (sign up here). But we will also have flu vaccines for adults and kids for free. We will have adult COVID vaccines, and TBD on kid COVID vaccines.
