Holiday Gratitude....
As we inch ever closer to the well-deserved two-week break, I want to make sure each of you knows how much I appreciate all that you do to make Gompers such a wonderful place! Every staff member that steps foot on this campus through those "gates" makes a huge difference each day, and for that, I am tremendously humbled and grateful. Thank you!!
The holiday season can be quite hectic and exhausting. However, in the midst of the hustle and bustle, I urge you to do some "SELFCARE". Read a good book, sit by the fireplace, sleep in, take some naps mid-day, play scrabble and Taboo with friends, enjoy the ski slopes/mountains or simply the warmth of your favorite blanket...... Just simply take time to rejuvenate yourself and your being. I know, I will at my favorite place...Burke Williams!!!
I think it is important to celebrate all of you and am grateful to those of you who have joined me in celebrating the 12 Days of Holiday Cheer...its been fun!.
Friday is a minimum day for our students with a 2:00 pm dismissal for grades 1-8. It is my hope that you all will get your planning and prep work done (for the week we return in January) early in the week so that you may walk out the door with your students on Friday and commit to some much needed (and deserved) rest and relaxation.
In closing, I wish you and your family and loved ones a blessed holiday season full of love, peace, and memories. I look forward to seeing you in the new year committed to our focused goals for student success for the Gompers Gators in whom we serve.
In Gratitude,
Dr. Miller

Use the LROIX data dashboard to support your data gathering and analysis for a focused discussion.
IAB Data data review
However, the data is now available on your LROIX personal dashboard for you to peruse and begin to make meaning of student strengths and areas od stretch to meet the end of grade-level proficiency standards.
***Please check your mailbox for the rubric for IAB/Literary Text to input student scores**
Due to the delayed data return, I will have to wait and give the specific directions for how to review the data and what it is saying for standard analysis in January.
Please note, Upon return from winter break, we will have 65 days before the official SBAC testing window opens.
