Friction
Reagan Mcneely
static friction
Static friction is friction that does not move, for example if a puppy is sitting down it has static friction.
Sliding friction
Sliding friction is friction that slides, for example if you were to slide down a slide you are creating sliding friction between you and the slide.
Rolling friction
Rolling friction is friction that rolls over another object, for example when you play kick ball the ball has rolling friction.
Fluid friction
Fluid friction is friction that resists the movement of a solid object through air or water, for example if you went surfing there would be fluid friction between the surf board and the water.
