Reading Middle School
Weekly Blue Devil News- First Days 2019-2020
Principal Update
Dear RMS Families,
On behalf of Reading Middle School, welcome to the 2019-20 school year! I hope you have had some time this summer to relax and spend time with family and friends. Each year we excitedly await for the first day of school in order to begin a new journey with students and families. Our goal is to provide the best educational experience possible for our students. With the partnership of our families, we want to create an environment that is safe, nurturing, yet challenging for each child in grades 6, 7, and 8. We are especially excited to welcome the newest members of our middle school family, the class of 2026!!
This is a historic year for RMS. We are celebrating two important milestones. First, we are relocating to a state of the art, new school where our teachers and students can experience learning at unprecedented levels. Second, we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary as a middle school! This will be a year of many celebrations and creating new memories together.
You will find some important dates and information throughout this newsletter, so please mark your calendars! You can expect to receive this newsletter each week in your inbox. We want to make sure that you feel connected and informed about what is occurring at RMS.
