Otsego Local Schools Week of March 21st
JTI (Junior Teen Institute) Wood County Retreat
There will be a total of 20 students from Otsego Jr. High grades 6-8 representing the district at this years annual Wood County Retreat. The retreat is being held on April 15th from 4:30-9:00pm at Otsego Jr. High. There will be pictures and student testimonials to follow!
2016 Wood County Youth Olympics
There was another big turnout for this year's 2016 Wood County Youth Olympics for Otsego participants and volunteers! Thanks to all of the hardworking and amazing volunteers supporting Otsego Local Schools. Otsego was awarded the volunteer trophy once again this year. The school district will once again be on the event shirts next year.

I am the On-Site Prevention Specialist for the Otsego Local School District. I am in the district 3 days per week. I have a monthly calendar on my office door showing my schedule each day.
Prevention Responsibilities:
- Problem Identification (Referrals: Behavior, AOD use, social support)
- Life Skills Education Classes in HS & MS
- Expect Respect Support Group (Healthy relationships, & dating violence awareness)
- Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer
- Wood County Youth Olympics Planning Committee Member
- Teen Institute Leadership Advisor
- Opiate Task Force Member for Wood County
- Prevention Committee Member for the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (OCDPB)
