Elementary Tiger Times
Volume 6 Issue 1
From the Desk of Dr. Elissa Smith
Hello, Lyndonville Elementary Families!
We are so thankful to have all of our students back at LCS for the 2021-22 school year! Thank you for your help in building strong relationships between our school staff and our elementary families. Our Superintendent, Mr. Smith, recently shared an update that included an anticipated adjustment for our end of the day routine. In order to minimize congestion, the following pick up times have been adjusted. These will begin TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12th. Our buses will leave LCS twenty minutes later beginning 10/12. Parent pick up for grade levels will be as follows (please continue to pick up with the oldest child):
PreK - 2:00 PM
Kindergarten - 2:15 PM
1st grade - 2:20 PM
2nd grade - 2:25 PM
3rd - 2:30 PM
4th, 5th & 6th grade - 2:35 PM
Starting on 10/12, we will also return to hosting after school extracurricular activities with an optional “late bus.” Please expect information about 5/6 band and chorus to come home with students who are enrolled in these activities.
If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out via phone (585-765-3122) or email (esmith@LCSDK12.org). Collaboration between home and school leads to increased student success!

School Supplies
Pre-ordered school supply kits for PreK-6 families who purchased online were ready and waiting for students on the first day of school! We look forward to utilize this program again!
Welcome, Mrs. Sparks!
Mrs. Sparks enjoys story time with her pre-k class.
Masterpiece!
Kindergarten students had fun learning how to grow their brains! They learned that mistakes help them learn, and not to give up! They read The Dot and turned their dots into a masterpiece! They read Making a Splash and used their "growth brains" to build towers out of cups!
Welcome back, Volunteers!
Transportation
Due to safety protocols implemented in the 2020-2021 school year, current protocol allows only ONE am and ONE pm location for bus pick up and drop off. Multiple drop off points per week will NOT be honored.
A Transportation Form is needed for permanent changes, Daily Dismissal Change forms will not be accepted to change busses. Please call the main office to obtain the proper form.
