The Mustang Messenger
June 1st, 2023
Greetings Mustang Families!
It's hard to believe that the end of the school year has arrived. I want to thank you for your support and patience. Special thanks go to all the volunteers and PAC who supported our school throughout the year. Your presence and support allowed us to achieve goals and recognize our well-deserved staff and students throughout the year. I want to thank our hard-working and caring staff members for making a difference in the lives of our students. Thank you for providing rich, engaging, well-rounded experiences for our students and for helping them develop the social and academic skills needed for success. I would also like to thank the Rancho Pico students for their perseverance, kindness, and flexibility; you are an incredible group of young people with bright futures.
I look forward to seeing our new 7th and returning 8th graders in August. To those leaving us for West Ranch, or other schools, we wish you all the best in your future educational endeavors.
Have a wonderful, safe and healthy summer!
Your grateful principal,
Catherine Nicholas, Ed.D.

Online Registration
Dear Parents / Guardians:
Thank you to all of the families who have already completed online registration. This is a friendly reminder that the William S. Hart Union High School District uses Online Registration (OLR) to collect District-wide forms and update student records for each school year. This replaces many of the forms previously provided in the paper packets distributed over summer break. Rancho Pico will be sending out our site specific forms to be completed later in June.
To complete Online Registration (OLR), please do the following:
1. Create an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account (if you already have one you may skip this step).
a. Visit https://www.hartdistrict.org/apps/pages/infinite-campus to submit a form to create an account. Please note that requests are processed individually and may take up to 1-2 business days.
b. Once your account is created you will receive an email with instructions on how to sign in and change your password.
It is suggested that you add www.portalsupport@hartdistrict.org to your email contacts to avoid going to your Spam folder.
c. (OPTIONAL) Next you may download the Campus Parent Mobile App to view your student’s progress on the go and set up push notifications on grades and attendance. For more information visit https://www.infinitecampus.com/audience/parents-students.
2. Sign in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal from the Campus Parent Mobile App or by visiting https://hartdistrict.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/parents/hart.jsp.
3. Once signed in, select More from the left side menu then select Online Registration.
4. Complete the steps as outlined in the OLR User Guide available at https://www.hartdistrict.org/apps/pages/infinite-campus.
We hope you will find the new Online Registration (OLR) system helpful.
We appreciate you taking the time to complete this important process as soon as possible.
Be well,
Catherine Nicholas, Ed.D.
