Game On! Let's Create Champions!
Relationships Matter
As we know there is scientific research on the brain that explains why connection is essential to learning. Just like this frequently used quote says, “Your students don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
Here is a video reminder of the power of building relationships in schools. After watching the video, reflect on how you ensure that students know that you care.
- How can I convince each one of my students that he or she was meant to be in my classroom?
Have a great week!

Mental Health Training
We have a district requirement for Modules 2-3 on Mental Health Awareness (see chart below). It is an expectation that we complete this on Oct. 11th.
It is a Canvas course. It is for about 2 hours. Please save the date, Oct. 11th to work on this. It is a half day/Early release day. We will meet at the library after students are dismissed.
If you choose to do this course at your on pace and finish it prior to Oct 11th, you may then use the early release day to begin parent conferences early.
