Detox party at home!!

Help your detox with the help of auricular ear acupuncture!

NADA or Acu-Detox protocol is clinically researched and World Health Organization recognized treatment for many different types of addiction, stress, and even PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder)

At five designated ear points in each auricle (outer ear), fine gauge, sterilized, one-time use stainless steel needles are inserted just under the skin, where they remain for 30 minutes while the patient relaxes, meditates and listens to soothing music.

Among the benefits reported by clients and clinicians are reductions in cravings, anxiety, sleep disturbance and need for pharmaceuticals.

Each treatment can be tailored so if you want detox from alcohol and your friends are trying to give up smoking and loose weight - a slightly different protocol using ear points will be undertaken.

For a £40 donation (for example if there are 8 people in your party donation only £5 per person) you can get more support this year.

You and your friends can come together to support one another in your chosen detox treatment and receive auricular acupuncture in the comfort of your own home!

5 Treatments advised for maximum benefits - usually taken once a week, but can be increased if necessary.

What to expect:

Each person will have a short but detailed chat about what they want to get out of the treatment. The 5/6 needles in each ear will be inserted tailored specifically for your individual needs.

30 minutes of meditation to music, followed by withdrawal of needles, cup of warm detox tea and the free option of ear "seeds" on the ear. These are like little plasters with seeds on them, so certain Acu-points on the ear can be pressed, giving treatment for cravings for up to a week after Acupuncture treatment.

"I had ear acupuncture for my addiction to snacking and also for anxiety, I found that I comfort ate when I was stressed. I was going through a rough time at work and I found that once we started treating my anxiety with the acupuncture that it really helped me to sleep. I thought less about food and the cravings/binge eating subsided." Emma
