#TeamHarv Scouting Report
Week of November 2 - 6
Life Principle of the Week
"We must all live together as brothers or perish alone as fools" -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The Weeks in Review
In Science, we continued our study in life science and spent a lot of time in organisms and their needs. We worked through habitats and how each habitat meets the needs of the organisms that live there. We even planned a habitat for some animals of our choosing! We made sure to meet the needs of birds, worms, snakes, mice, dragonflies, and much, much more!
In Social Studies, it took us a little longer than we would have liked, but we have finally finished our review of Native American tribes and their cultures. We now begin the true portion of American History!
Grades
As we begin a new nine weeks here are a few reminders:
- There will continue to be 4 current events per nine weeks, and those are all due by by Friday, January 15. These hurt some students who chose not to do them and go in as zeroes at the end of the nine weeks.
- The current events must be news articles that have been read, not videos.
- The most up-to-date grade can be found in Schoology
